MARY RUTH LAY NUSBAUM, 64

Mary Ruth Lay Nusbaum, 64, died Monday, February 18 at her Seneca, South Carolina Residence. A native of Corbin, Kentucky, she was a supervisor of Water Therapy at American Red Cross for 23 years and retired in 1990. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, the Higher Steppers, the YWCA, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by husband James E. Nusbaum, Fort Wayne; daughters Pamela R. Nusbaum, Santee, South Carolina; Brenda E. Gillespie, Seneca, South Carolina; Laura J. Polanco, Colorado Springs, Colorado; and 5 Grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, February 23, 2002 at St. Therese Catholic Church with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to American Cancer Society. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
