LIGHTING STRIKES PINE
Homer Hoke of Waynedale Plumbing reported that lighting had hit a pine tree in the backyard of his residence at 4024 Lower Huntington Road. The lighting strike occurred at 7:15 am on Thursday, August 9.
Bonnie Cook, of Geiger Developing, next door to Hoke’s property, said their phone systems were knocked out. She also reported a fried networking computer card. No damage was reported at Hoke’s except for a pine tree with a hole blown through it and branches and debris scattered over his lawn.
