RIVER CITY RAT RACE DONATES TO YMCA
The River City Rat Race Committee presented $6,500 to the YMCA Strong Kid’s campaign. Described by Runner’s World writer Hal Higdon, the River City Rat Race is, “One of the most scenic 10Ks I’ve ever run!” The annual Rat Race included a 10K race and 5K race on Sunday, October 27, through the autumn parks and riverfront of downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. The race was fun and family friendly! This year’s race shirt was neon yellow and displayed a blue ribbon on the sleeve to honor the Boston Marathon!
