NEXT SOUTH SIDE BUSINESS MEETING: IMPORTANT!
The next SSBG Meeting will be on August 25, 2011 5:30 pm., at Atz on S Anthony.
Our business meeting for this month will feature the candidates who are running for office in the November 2011 election. This is open to the public.
This is an opportunity to meet face to face and get to know those who are running for office and start building a relationship with our city’s leaders. We have invited the Mayoral candidates, Clerk candidates, the “at Large council members and the candidates for the 4th, 5th, and 6th districts of Allen County. Confirmations so far: Tom Henry, Paula Hughes, Zachary Bonahoon, Sandra Kennedy, Mitch Harper, Mike Avila, Geoff Paddock, Glynn Hines, Marty Bender, John Crawford John Shoaff.
The SSBG is a “conduit” between the city leaders and the south side of town. They want to share their ideas concerning the issues before us, as much as we want to share our concerns with them. We are all working together to make Fort Wayne a better place to live for us and for the children, our future leaders. We need you to be there, to show our candidates how much we really care. An opportunity will be provided to ask questions if time permits. This will prove to be an exciting meeting and hope to see all of you there and show your support and interest in keeping the south side “up to par”.
