FWA TO HOST SPRING BREAK ACTIVITIES

With area schools preparing for Spring Break, Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) is gearing up for the expected traffic increase by planning a number of activities and events during the month of March and early April for passengers traveling in the terminal.

Throughout the Spring Break period, the terminal will have the sounds of live music thanks to a partnership with Sweetwater Sound. Guests will be able to listen to piano music as they wait to board their flights in the upper concourse.

Superman will catch a break from his crime stopping to visit FWA with multiple appearances during March and April travel times. Activity bags and popcorn will also be provided in the terminal for a little something to do and munch on. Other activities include photo opportunities with a fun face-in-hole display, raffle giveaways and Customer Service Agents (CSAs) assisting passengers in festive Hawaiian shirts.

Along with various in-terminal activities, FWA will also be presenting free parking giveaways – the Spring Break Parking Break. The winners of these giveaways will receive free parking at FWA. Passengers will have two options to enter. One way, participants can enter is by following FWA’s Facebook page, which will provide followers with directions of how to enter the promotion via social media. Participants can also enter the contest while flying out for their vacation by filling out a submission form card. Special days and times will feature the in-terminal version of the free parking giveaway. Submissions and the announcement of the winner will be collected and drawn in the terminal before flights board.
