ST. MICHAEL LUTHERAN CHURCH WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS
It was a special day for St. Michael Lutheran Church at 2131 Getz Road on November 17th when nearly 60 new members were received into membership. Pictured above are some of those people accepted by transferring from a sister congregation, or they had their membership reaffirmed, or a number of them completed the seven week adult instruction class (taught by Pastor Lessing) and three orientation sessions, known as Next Steps-taught by Pastor Nichols.
St. Michael operates a Christian Day School for K-8 as well as pre-school program partnering with Emmanuel Lutheran Church on West Jefferson. St. Michael houses the K-3 with grades 4-8 at the 917 W. Jefferson campus.
St. Michael has a membership of over 1500 and conducts worship services on Saturdays at 5:00p.m and on Sundays at 8:00 and 10:45a.m. with Sunday school and Bible classes at 9:30a.m.
