THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER

The University of Saint Francis will stage “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” a three-act comedy, on November 8-10 and 15-17 in the USF Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry St., Fort Wayne.

The play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart is set in Ohio in the 1930s. The plot unfolds during Christmas, when a famous radio personality named Sheridan Whiteside accepts a dinner invitation at the home of a rich factory owner. Before Whiteside enters the house, he falls and hurts his hip. As he stays at the home to recover, he wreaks havoc upon the lives of the rich factory owner and his family.

Performance times are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is $15 for the general public and $12 for seniors and children under 10. Group discounts are available. Doors will open 30 minutes before show time for general seating. Complimentary parking is available across the street.
