CONGRATULATIONS JIM & TOOT HALL
Congratulations to Jim and Toot (Mildred Moser) Hall who are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Both Jim and Toot were raised in DeFiance, Ohio. Jim graduated from Defiance High and Toot from Ayresville High. They were married on August 22, 1953 in Defiance, Ohio at St. John’s Catholic Church. They continue to celebrate their Catholic faith at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and were previous members of St. Therese Catholic Church in Waynedale.
After their marriage, Jim served in the United States Air Force, worked at ITT, Rhoades Equipment and retired from Dana Corp in 1991 after 28 years of service. Toot babysat children at home while raising their family and retired from Supermarket Services.
Family has always been their focus and they are the parents of 6 children. Bruce (Deb) Hall, Mary Kim (Frank) McMaster, Tom (Deb) Hall, Mike (Kara) Hall, Nancy Harker and Jimmy (deceased/Tanya Glassburn) Hall. They are also the proud grandparents of 11 and the great-grandparents of 5. They continue to be fun-loving and enjoy frequent gatherings with family and friends.
We as their children are so thankful for the love and support of our amazing parents. They have instilled in all of us the value of hard work, service, faith and integrity. They will be honored at dinners on Saturday, August 24 at Nolt Family Dinner Haus with friends and relatives, and August 25 at Hall’s Tavern with family.
