FRECKER HONORED AS INDIANAPOLIS STAR ACADEMIC ALL-STAR
Veronica Frecker, a senior at Bishop Luers High School, was honored at a lunch in Indianapolis as an Indianapolis Star Academic All-Star. Accredited high schools in Indiana may each nominate one student based on the following considerations: SAT/ACT score and grade-point average for seven semesters, extra-curricular activities related to academics, leadership, and community service and involvement. Veronica was a Regional Honoree. The Indianapolis Star Academic All-Stars is a partnership of The Indianapolis Star and the Indiana Association of School Principals.
Veronica is the daughter of Allan and Mary Frecker. She lives in Hoagland, Indiana and is a member of St. Joseph Hessen Cassel parish. She will attend Butler University and study actuarial science. While at Bishop Luers Veronica has been vice-president and Key Leader in Key Club, the Co-Founder and Co-President of Knights for Life, a member of the National Honor Society and the Academic Super Bowl. She is in Student Council and was a manager of the Knight’s wrestling team. Veronica works part time as an optician’s assistant. She has earned a GPA of 12.145, with all A’s on her report cards. Miss Frecker likes to write in her spare time.
