40 VOICE CHOIR SINGING AT HOLY SCRIPTURE
Holy Scripture Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8811 Kinnerk Rd. in Fort Wayne, will host the 40 voice men’s choir of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary on Sunday morning, April 15, at 11:00 A.M.
Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, located in suburban Milwaukee, WI, produces parish pastors for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, a church body of some 1200 congregations located throughout the nation. Its 412,000 members support a network of domestic and foreign missions and an extensive elementary and secondary school system. Besides Holy Scripture, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church on Coldwater Road is a member of the Wisconsin Synod.
The Seminary Chorus, directed by Prof. James Tiefel, is made up of all ministerial students and has toured in many areas of the country during its 80-year history. The concert program includes traditional and contemporary religious music. There is no admission charge. Following the concert there will be a dinner served to all who wish to stay and meet the men of the chorus.
