SMOKE ON THE WIND

DANCING FEATHERThe other day, I was reading a newspaper article about how cashiers are irreplaceable and that some grocery stores are scrapping the self-serve checkouts.

I thought about how that relates to one’s faith.

There are times that we certainly need a self check and to look within, spending quiet time in prayer, contemplation, and meditation with Jesus Christ, The Way Shower. Frequently when doing this, it has been shown to me that it is time to go through a cashier’s check-out with a big smile on my face, and say to the cashier, “Thank you and God bless you” as I give them a Milky Way.

Oh how sweet it is – life of faith in The Way Shower.
