Glick and her colleagues are working at the organization’s recently opened information center at 608 Union Chapel Road.

To be built for approximately $50 million on 40 acres along Coldwater Road north of Union Chapel Road, the new community will offer a host of resort-style amenities and services. It’s anticipated that the campus will be ready for residents by the summer of 2014.

As part of her duties, Glick is helping to promote the campus. She’ll also meet with prospective residents to discuss their retirement-living needs and preferences.

“This is an exciting opportunity to bring a new way of retirement living to older adults in the Fort Wayne area,” Glick says. “I really love our philosophy to ‘Live Like Never Before.’ That statement conveys the message that people can retire in style at our new community.”

Glick grew up in Angola and studied business at Hillsdale College and Trine University. Her professional background includes several leadership roles, including regional vice president of sales and marketing. Most recently, she was director of admissions and marketing for a skilled-nursing and memory-care retirement community.

Founded in 1931, Lutheran Life Villages is a premier provider of independent-living, assisted-living, and nursing-care communities for older adults on its campuses in Fort Wayne and Kendallville. In addition, Lutheran Life Villages Home Care provides non-medical personal assistance to older adults wherever they reside in northeast Indiana. The organization also provides intergenerational programming through Children’s Village, the early-learning center on the Fort Wayne campus.

A state-licensed, nonprofit organization, Lutheran Life Villages is a member of the Indiana Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA) and LeadingAge. Lutheran Life Villages is an affiliated and recognized social ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, respectively.
