INSIDE THE TOMB OF TUTANKHAMEN
The Junior High class at St. Therese Catholic School visited the Indianapolis Children’s Museum to experience the King Tutankhamen: The Golden Kind Exhibit. There we saw 50 objects from the tomb of King Tut and 80 ancient artifacts. From statues of magnificent pharaohs to dazzling jewelry we traveled back in time to a belief of many gods and pristine pyramids.
Our favorite object from this wonderful journey was the golden death mask of an awesome pharaoh. From this experience we learned that these ancient beginnings were more complex than we anticipated. They really started what we have built onto today.
We are glad to have had this rare opportunity to participate in this once in a lifetime exhibit that we will never forget.
