THAT’S THE WAY I SAW IT
WHAT WILL SAVE BASEBALL?
Looking over my archives of newspaper articles I noticed the November 17, 2007 article by Nancy Armour. It was titled, “No Really A-Rod Can Save Baseball.”
The main point of this article is if A-Rod hits more home runs than Bonds, about the year 2014, this will save baseball by removing Bonds name at the top of the record books. I guess no player can hit in 56 straight games and hit .400 or a team win the World Series after being in last place the 4th of July.
As old as I am, I may not see baseball saved. It is amazing that the home run started the steroids and only home runs can save baseball.
This is only an opinion of a sports journalist.
And that’s the way I saw it.
Until next time.
