LOVEJOY WINS STATE

Tony Lovejoy, the son of Kevin and Patty Lovejoy on Sandpoint Road, qualified for and participated in the 2006 Indiana State Freestyle Championships in Indianapolis, IN on May 6th and 7th.  In only his second Freestyle Tournament ever, Tony, a student at Saint Therese currently in the eighth grade, scored six straight victories to capture the State Title in the Schoolboy 110-pound division.

By winning the Indiana State Title, Tony has earned the privilege of representing the state of Indiana on the Indiana Gold Freestyle team.  The Indiana Gold team will be participating in the USA Wrestling National Schoolboy Duals.  Teams from across the United States will be wrestling in this National competition June 9th through the 11th in Indianapolis, IN.
