THE ROWED TO WORK LESS TRAVELED
Sherri Carroll was the recipient of MarkleBank’s Above and Beyond Award for her true spirit of teamwork and sacrifice. Sherri, a teller at the Warren banking center, was determined not to let her coworkers down. After several days of rain flooded her property, the floodwaters were too high to drive through by automobile. Sherri navigated by boat to a relative’s house and borrowed a truck to complete the trip into work. Sherri showed a dedication that is rare and very much appreciated. In addition to receiving the Above and Beyond Award, her coworkers presented her with a hand-painted oar as a memento of her trek.
Above and Beyond Awards are presented quarterly by MarBanc Financial Corporation’s Board of Directors to recognize employees who show a level of commitment and dedication above and beyond the call of duty. Employees are nominated by their coworkers for outstanding effort when it comes to providing service to customers, clients, or coworkers.
