LOCAL SCHOOL NEWS

That first win against Dwenger not only shocked Fort Wayne, it shocked the nation. The upset victory of a team that had struggled for so many years, against a team that was ranked #1 in the state, will keep people talking for years to come.
Elmhurst went on to win against Wayne on September 19th (31-14) and then again against North Side on October 3rd (19-6).
Congratulations for a great season to Elmhurst Principal Laura Taliaferro, Athletic Director Julie Hollingsworth, Coach Roosevelt Norfleet and staff, and all the football players that went out there every week and did their best.

The team and coaches would like to thank all of the staff, students, friends, and family for supporting us throughout the season. The coaches would like to thank the eighth grade players for a very enjoyable season and to wish them the best as they play in high school. The coaches are looking forward to working with the returning sixth and seventh graders as we set out next season to defend our City Championship.
