AREA WOMAN PUBLISHES FIRST BOOK
Marcia Laker, of 1412 Hawthorne Road, has published her first book of poems. Her new book, RECENT sightings, is an invitation to its’ readers to participate in the creative process by contributing their own ideas. The author draws on her experience as a woman maturing in a changing society, grounded in tradition yet rising with new opportunity.
Marcia will be at the Million Story Book Company for a book signing on December 8, 2002 at 2:00pm.
