ELMHURST GOES BROADWAY!

Directed by Kirby Volz and set designs by Donald Goss, this story is a familiar one made popular by Donny Osmond. Joseph is his father’s favorite and rejected by his brothers. He is dumped in a pit by his brothers to die. The father is told that his favorite son is dead and an angel in heaven. But Joseph has the power to interpret dreams.
The musical uses country and western, calypso, ballads, and rock-n-roll. Several students from St. Therese will be singing along with the Elmhurst High School performers. The pit orchestra will be directed by Mr. Carson Kelley.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be performed on March 8 and 9 at the Elmhurst Auditorium at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale at the cost of $7 and $5 for senior citizens and children middle school age and under. Discount ticket prices will be given to church groups of 10 or more. Reservations can be made by calling 425-7510 x 445.
