‘FACES OF GOD’ STUDENT ART EXHIBIT – UNIVERSITY OF ST. FRANCIS

The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend has announced that an art exhibit featuring the “Faces of God” – artworks by students studying art at educational institutions within the diocese – was on display Sunday, May 20, at the University of Saint Francis’s John P. Weatherhead Gallery off Leesburg Road in Fort Wayne.

More than 150 pieces of art by students from Bishop Dwenger and Bishop Luers high schools, Fort Wayne, Saint Joseph’s High School, South Bend, Marian High School, Mishawaka, Holy Cross College, South Bend, and the University of Saint Francis was on display from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Refreshments and light snacks were served, courtesy of the School of Creative Arts. Gallery hours through the week are 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. to Noon on Fridays. The last day of the exhibit will be May 31.

Following the display at USF, the exhibition will be moved to the University of Notre Dame where it will be seen by thousands of individuals attending the Eucharistic Congress on Saturday, August 18.
