“BASKETS & BAGS” BINGO TO BE PLAYED IN OSSIAN

Psi Iota Xi Sorority in Ossian is sponsoring their 13TH annual Bingo night featuring prize packages donated by local businesses and Friends of Psi Iota Xi. Included this year will be retired Longaberger baskets and special “31” bags and totes. Of special interest this year will be the Longaberger 2001 Collector Club Harmony series of five stackable baskets with protectors and wood lids donated by Rich and Carolyn McCoy. Also of special interest will be the “Thirty-One” Rolling Cooler Bag sponsored by Oswalt Realty. A special “thank you” to Helen Witte for supplying one of her famous pies for one of the prize packages.

The event will be held on Monday, October 16th at the Ossian United Methodist Fellowship Center, 201 W. Mill St. Ossian, IN. Doors will open at 6:15 PM with games beginning at 7 PM. Reserved tickets and reserved tables of eight are available by calling 260-403-4846.

Twenty games of bingo will be played for $20.00. Two raffles will also be held for an additional $5.00/each. Most of the baskets and prizes will be filled with extra “goodies“. Concessions of walking tacos and snacks will be available for purchase.

The Sorority’s cheese balls will also be available after November 3rd by contacting any Sorority member or by calling 260-622-6712. Orders will be taken at the Bingo Event.

Proceeds from these fundraisers provide support for local projects such as the Archbold Wilson Park Amphitheater Fund and educational scholarships. Other special projects are aimed at literature, help for the speech/hearing impaired, and various fine arts needs within our area.
