THAT’S THE WAY I SAW IT

BALL PLAYERS GET RUSTY

Major League Baseball must have a large amount of Public Relations Experts on their payroll then explain to fans why players do not perform well.

The latest gem: A Major League Manager informed the press that the reason his pitcher did not do well was because he got rusty during the long All-Star layoff.

It appears to me it would be best for the manager to keep these players working out during the All-Star break.

You have to admit this new gem is a new approach. There will be many more reasoans why high paid ball players are not as good as they were thought to be. The announcers will help us in regards to keeping the fans well educated.
