NO STEALING IN THIS LOCAL WALMART STORE!
Once a girl name Caddie and a girl named Sissy were walking in Walmart.
“This store sure does have a lot of movies in it, and I find this store huge. We should come here more,” said Caddie.
Then Sissy asked, “Caddie, do you have any money? I really want a quarter and I have no money left.”
“Sorry, I have no money left, but just go ahead and take one, who cares if you steal? It’s just one candy bar.”
“I don’t think I should steal. If everybody just said it was just one candy bar, then there wouldn’t be any more candy bars. And besides, it would be cheating the people who own the store. Now, I think it’s time we go home,” replied Sissy.
As soon as they got home Sissy immediately told her mother about the dilemma.
Her mother said, “Stealing would be the wrong thing to do,” and she said she would talk to Caddie.
That next day, Sissy’s mom called Caddie and her mom over to their house to have a talk. When they came over they all discussed how it was bad to steal and it is not the right thing to do. After they had a long talk you could tell Caddie was sorry for what she was thinking, and she said, “Stealing is very wrong. I’m sorry. I’ll never think about doing it again. If I don’t have the money, I’ll do without,” Caddie said. “I never thought about it hurting anyone, or cheating anyone. I just thought it was a candy bar, not a crime. Now I can see that somebody has to pay, and I have learned an important lesson.”
