WAYNEDALE LIBERTY TAX SERVICE MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Liberty Tax Service, located at 4382 Bluffton Road in Waynedale held a benefit on Saturday, April 14, 2007 for Cell Phones for Soldiers.
Cell Phones for Soldiers is a nationwide program that uses old cell phones to purchase calling cards for our soldiers overseas.
For each cell phone donated, 25 hours of prepaid calling cards are sent to our soldiers so they can call home without worrying about calling charges. There are nearly 3000 collection sites across the nation. All Liberty Tax Service offices, including our Waynedale branch, serve as drop-off sites for Cell Phones for Soldiers.
The Cell Phones for Soldiers benefit at our Waynedale branch raised 3 large boxes filled to the rims with cell phones and cell phone batteries.
Liberty Tax Service accepts donations all year round and there is no purchase necessary to donate at these sites. Cell phones can be dropped off at the Waynedale Liberty Tax Service site on Wednesdays. So dig up your old cell phones and help our soldiers overseas connect with their families here at home.
