LINDA L. SNEERINGER NEW PRINCIPAL AT HARRISON HILL ELEMENTARY
Linda Sneeringer comes to Harrison Hill after serving as principal at Arlington Elementary. Prior to that, she had been a principal at Stow-Monroe Falls City School District in Stow, Ohio, and had also served as an elementary principal in Windham, Ohio.
She began her career in Akron, Ohio, serving as K-8 vocal and instrumental music teacher. Her undergraduate degree is from Wittenberg University and she holds a Master’s degree from Kent State University.
Mrs. Sneeringer said, “One of my goals here is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment where all children, staff and parents can experience learning at high levels.”
When asked if she missed spending time in the classroom, she stated, “I haven’t given it up. I still visit a classroom almost every day. I try to observe without interfering in the learning experience. ”
Harrison Hill opened in September of 1924. They have gone through four expansions over the past eighty years. Their motto is “Harrison Hill Academy can, and will.”
