LET US PRAY

We four were gathered around the table – Tom and Jane, Lee and Esther – ready to partake of the feast, holding hands, embraced in friendship, love and respect. I asked Lee if he would offer a prayer. We closed our eyes and bowed our heads. Lee began by saying, “I’ve never done this before.” And then he said the most heart-warming words to The Creator, to bless the food and to bless all creation. I’ll bet you can even feel Lee’s prayer now when you close your eyes and join hands with your neighbors, family, and friends.

May we all enjoy peace, love and respect, and may we all be grateful to The Creator for our many blessings.

Thank you, Lee Leatherman, for your beautiful prayer, to take us into the new year with blessings of gratitude from God, The Creator.
