SOAP BOX DERBY SUCCESS STORY FOR LOCAL FAMILY

Kalene Powell won fourth place in the stock division 65th All-American soapbox derby last Saturday, July 27th. 148 local winners competed in the stock division. Kalene was only one photo finish away from having a chance to win the championship. Then she won the three-car “run-off” race for forth, fifth and sixth.
