SMOKE ON THE WIND
THREE BIG WORDS
There are three words that are very powerful, words that The Creator hears and looks at us in wonderment sometimes as to just what we are trying to say. I can assure you that we most certainly have His attention whenever these three words are spoken, uttered, shouted – or with tears, a throat and a heart that are all choked up and we are left speechless.
These three words will be spoken by anyone who sees us, and God Almighty will know that we are calling on Him. For some of us, these three words are our prayer, spoken with all sincerity, love, and respect. You know what these three words are. You have spoken them more than once. Perhaps you have heard them more often than you yourself have spoken them. I know from time served in the United States Air Force, I have spoken them often, and again as a husband, father, firefighter, minister, and human being and child of God. These three words have become, for me, the way I start to pray. If I can think of nothing more to say, I know that God, The Creator of us all, most certainly knows my heart when I say: OH MY GOD!
