TOWER BANK GROWS
Tower Bank has signed an agreement to acquire new property at 6430 West Jefferson Blvd. in Covington Plaza. The new office—-the sixth banking center location for Tower—-will employ five staff members.
CEO Donald F. Schenkel said, “As our company grows, we have the opportunity to expand our branch system. This prime location will make Tower Bank even more accessible to current and future customers.”
The Covington Plaza office is anticipated to open in mid 2006. Current Tower locations include the bank’s main office at 116 East Berry Street, and banking centers at 1545 West Dupont Road, 10373 Illinois Road, 4303 Lahmeyer Road, and 6731 Old Trail Road.
Tower Financial Corporation is the bank holding company for Tower Bank & Trust Company, a rapidly growing community bank that opened in February 1999. The only publicly-held bank headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
