Jerry and Mary Mathis, owners of the Curves francise in Waynedale, would like to welcome their new manager, April Wyss. April is 22 years old, attended St. Aloysius and Bishop Luers High School. She is a recent graduate of Ball State University with a degree in General Studies with emphasis on Elementary Education and Physical Education. April enjoys sports and fell in love with the fitness program offered through Curves.

As a specially trained staff member, April can help you feel good about yourself whether it be exercising to good health or to lose weight. Curves offers a complete 30-minute workout for women only. They help women to lose excess pounds and inches while acquiring the habit of exercise. Curves workout includes a complete five-point fitness routine: warm-up, aerobic exercise, strength training, cool down and stretching. The strength and cardio training alternates hydraulic resistance machines with aerobic recovery stations. You work out on a machine for 35 seconds and then move on to the next station, checking your heart rate as you go.

Curves for Women is the world’s largest fitness franchise. In Waynedale Curves is located at 5939 Bluffton Road, in the Wayne Plaza Shopping Center.
