TOWERPARK BREAKS GROUND

Michael Romary, president of MER Group, announced the groundbreaking on Tuesday, July 1st at 2:30pm for the new $2.75 million professional office and banking complex in Waynedale. It is named TOWERpark. MER Group is the developer for the project located at the intersection of Old Trail and Lower Huntington Roads. The complex will include a 10,000 square foot professional office building in addition to the Tower Bank. The Waynedale Tower Bank’s 3,000 square foot branch will be the fifth banking center in the Fort Wayne area.

“There is great potential for economic growth in Waynedale,” Curt Brown, Tower’s President commented. “Tower already serves many businesses and individuals in this area. Our new branch will offer greater convenience for current and future customers.”

Jeff Krivacs will be the new manager of Tower Bank’s Waynedale branch. Five new jobs will be added when the new banking center opens in the fourth quarter of 2003.

Michael Romary, MER Group President anticipates that TOWERpark will be ready for additional tenant occupancy near the end of the year. “MER Group is always looking for ways to contribute to the economic health of the community,” Romary said. “We’re very pleased to invest in the future of Waynedale through this project.”
