WRITING BOOKS FOR THE YOUNG AUTHORS PROGRAM
On March 26, about 150 Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School kindergartners through 5th graders who wrote books for the Young Authors program gathered in the Parish Activity Center. The students were placed in small multi-grade groups and read the books they wrote to each other.
The books were evaluated for the Young Authors program and won different prizes. The first, second and third place winners from 3rd, 4th and 5th grades will go on to the Regional Young Authors Conference being held at Northrup High School on April 11.
The Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School book-writing students celebrated their accomplishment by watching a movie and having popcorn and a drink at the end of the school day.
