Eldredge seeks to help women rediscover their inner beauty, self-confidence, creativity, and life goals. Using personal illustrations and enlightening stories, much as she did in Captivating, Eldredge delves deep into the heart of many women’s issues today. She touches on personal image, career ambitions, family enhancement, spiritual nourishment, and even physical conditioning. The book’s aim is to show women how to assess where they currently are and then determine how to get where they want to be.

This is more than a self-help book. It’s also a counseling journal. Eldredge writes with a voice of a concerned friend who wants to walk alongside readers in their own spiritual journey to completeness as women. This is a good book for females who seek healing and restoration to their true identity, an identity in Christ. I recommend it to all women sixteen and oalder.

Book Review by Emily E. Love who is a professional writing major at Taylor University. Her freelance writings appear in Church Libraries, The Echo, and on WBCL Radio.
