A Feather from Jacob

I wish to thank everyone who responded with compassion, love and respect to our family in the loss of little 4-year old Jacob Gessner, my grand-nephew.

I went out to my prayer circle the morning after the funeral to pray and to touch the prayer pole.‑ In the middle of this sacred circle was the most beautiful feather!‑ I knew then that little Jacob was lifted up on eagles’ wings to be with The Creator and the feather a gift and symbol that he will always be in our hearts.
